Definition of Robotics

The word Robotics comes from Robot, introduced by Czech writer Karel Capek in his play R. U. R. (Rossum’s Universal Robots). The play was published in 1920.

The original Robot word comes from Robota, a Czech word meaning "labourer".

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the term robotic was first introduced into publication by Isaac Asimov with his science fantasy short story "Liar". The author in his short story "Runaround" also gave three popular theories of Robotics, known as Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics, which are still relevant today.

The Three lows of Robotics are

(A). Humans should not harm by Robots.
(B). Robots should follow the instructions of humans without first disobeying the rules.
(C). Robots must protect themselves without disregarding other rules.

Different Types of Robots are available today. Which are using to do different tasks in different environments. However, three basic things are used to build a military robot and a medical robot.

That means, only one type of equipment in Robotics Technology and the theory is used in the manufacture of all types of robots.

Stationary Robots

Legged Robots

When the grip of wheeled robots became very strong in the world of robots, scientists worked hard to make a better alternative instead. So that it has some limitations, it ends. Like a wheeled the robot has to work, it can work only on a flat surface.
